Right now, I really miss my friends from the church camp I just got back from. Particularly, I miss my cousin Liz. I had such a good time with them this past week. I've been going to this camp for the past 9 years, and every year the same people have come, including my cousin. I feel like we've kind of grown up together at this camp. This year in particular was really fun. Because I wasn't in the "high school" group this year, I had much more free time to hang out with friends and have fun, and I had a blast! Now, everyone is far away, in different states, and I miss them all very much.

If I could be any creature, I would be a sea otter. Why? Possibly because they are the most amazing creature on the planet.

I first saw a sea otter when I was 12 and I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, California. The first exhibit of aquatic life I saw were the sea otters, and after watching these amazing creatures gracefully glide through their forest of kelp, I didn't want to see anything else. They were beautiful. They were awe-inspiring. I even bought a shirt featuring a sea otter.

So, of course, what other creature would I want to be after witnessing the amazingness that is the sea otter?
